User Elevation Data
complete
epanet-js team
While the platform provides a global Digital Terrain Model (DTM) for automatic elevation assignment, this feature allows users to import their own DTM files for enhanced accuracy. By using their own more precise or localized elevation data, users can override the default global DTM to better reflect specific project site conditions. This provides the flexibility to work with the highest quality elevation data available for any given area.

We are moving forward with this feature - you should see it in epanet-js soon!

Luke Butler could you tell me what is the DTM that is used by default in epanet-js ? I would like to quote in a report to explain the basis data for my simulations...

Also some good news on the user elevation data - we've finished the designs and our internal test. We will be moving onto implementing this feature in the next couple of weeks

is this feature that allows to upload DTM already implemented?
Luke Butler
Matteo M. not yet no. You will see updates on the features as they changed from planned, in progress and then completed.
We're working on a few other features first before we implement this one.

I think that adding the possibility to extract the elevation, to epanet-js, at the nodes from user-provided DTM it is very important in terms of accuracy of hydraulic calculations!

It will improuve the quality of detailed design of networks
