Simulation Engine

The application will fully support Extended Period Simulation (EPS), which is essential for analyzing the dynamic behavior of a water system over time. An EPS allows modelers to see how tank levels, pressures, and flows change throughout the day in response to fluctuating demands and operational controls. This is the core analysis type for most operational and water quality studies.

This tool will allow the user to perform a quality assurance check on the model's network topology. It will scan for and highlight common connectivity errors such as disconnected nodes, nodes that are in very close proximity and should be merged, and other issues that would cause the simulation to fail. This pre-run validation helps ensure the model is hydraulically sound and saves time by catching errors early.
